I used a specimen box from Martha Stewart to create this collage box. It was really fun to make. I like collage because you can rearrange things and experiment with different materials. I used a piece of an antique book, original drawing, decorative papers, masking tape and glue.
This guy cracks me up. I was visiting Softies Central and there he was. I think he is made out of felt or something.
I have always been interested in collage but I never really experimented with it until this past year. Recently I found these miniature shadowboxes and I made some Christmas inspired boxes using collage, Christmas ornaments and other elements. It was difficult to get a good picture that shows the three dimensional a
spects of the box. Collage is much more time consuming then I would have thought. I made the Believe box using decorative papers, glitter, Christmas ornaments and miniature garlands.
