Bonjour! Quelles sont tes fleurs preferees ?
Ummm.....I am going to France in May for a month to stay at Chateau L'Hesperit in the south of France. It has not completely sunk in but it is slowly becoming reality and I owe it all to my very own very young fairy godmother.
One day quite a while ago I read this e-mail from one of my buyers. All I remember is reading something about her mom has a chateau in France and would I like to go there and paint for a month and me screaming WHAT???!! I believed her because she said something about, "I know this doesn't sound real but it is". And it has become true. She set it all up for me. Her mother owns a Chateau with wine vineyards and an animal sanctuary. I will be painting and playing with all the French ducks, pigs, cows, sheep and so on.
I hope to take lots and lots of pictures and post them on here when I get back. The pictures at left are from Michelle.
I have been listening to the French Ecole Podcast on Itunes for beginners. It is a magical language but I think I will wear a miniature English/French dictionary around my neck.
The Chateau I believe is about an hour outside of Bordeaux in wine country. I think the nearest town is Montcaret.
Look at the French kitty. So cute!

That is so cool. I am envious. I just found you through etsy by doing a Shop Local search. I can't wait to see what you paint while in France.
