Still life with pear tart and newspaper I couldn't read
the studio I painted in. I had no t.v., no internet connection and my phone didn't work.
But I found a little radio and I listened to French pop music and news.

This is the front of the Chateau and Animal Sanctuary with these tall yellow Irises that were in bloom.
The original foundation of the Chateau was made around 900 A.D. and is influenced by the Romans.

I was having a really bad day and I received this picture of rescued donkeys Jenny and Pinnochio. I said I wish they were near by so I could bring them apples and whatever else little donkeys like. I thought they were here in the states at Michelle's Animal Sanctuary but they are in France. Aren't they cute! The little one looks so sad. They remind me of awesome artist Katherine Dunn's, Donkey Dreams project.
